Community Response Teams come in many different types, and are known under many different names, including Community Emergency Response Teams, Neighbourhood Emergency Teams, Community First Responder, and Community-Based Disaster Response Teams. Despite their variety, the basic functions of such teams remain the same: to provide immediate, life-saving assistance to their local community in the event of a major emergency.

This site is dedicate to such teams and contains information and resources that may be helpful to those who are currently involved in such teams, or are thinking of starting one.
